Aberavon Welcome Exciting Back Tomi Booth

Aberavon Rugby Club is delighted to announce the signing of Tomi Booth, a talented back whose kicking game and attacking flair have impressed in BUCS Super Rugby.

Head Coach Jason Hyatt spoke enthusiastically about the new arrival:

“Tomi has been playing BUCS Super Rugby and has impressed with his skill set. His kicking game and attacking flair will suit our style perfectly. He’s made an impression within the squad since arriving, and I’m confident he will add real value on and off the field.”

Hyatt believes Booth’s qualities extend beyond match days:

“Tomi has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and will be a good influence within the group. He’ll be given the opportunity to utilise his kicking game with us, and fans can expect plenty of flair and attacking ability this season.”

For Booth, the move to the Talbot Athletic Ground is an exciting step up:

“I was attracted by the better standard at senior level and the positive atmosphere around the club. The move came about through university links and conversations with Chris Davies, and I also spoke to Felix Gilbert before signing.”

Determined to make his mark, Booth outlined his ambitions:

“I want to bring a good work ethic and attitude to the team. My playing style is about knowing when to be the main decision-maker — having the skills to manage the game but also the freedom to play. This season I want to improve my game management and try to break into the matchday 23.”

Aberavon fans won’t have to wait long to see Booth in action — and if his BUCS form is anything to go by, there’s plenty to get excited about.

Welcome to the Wizards, Tomi!
