Aberavon Rugby Club is proud to announce Trade Centre Wales as a new sponsor ahead of the 2025/26 season, marking a major partnership between one of Wales’s most historic rugby clubs and one of the nation’s most recognised businesses.
As part of the agreement, the Trade Centre Wales logo will appear on the club’s famous Blood and Black shirts – a jersey steeped in tradition and worn with pride by generations of Wizards. Supporters will also see the brand featured prominently around the Talbot Athletic Ground, with stand branding ensuring a visible presence on matchdays. Beyond the field, Trade Centre Wales will also become sponsor of Aberavon’s official podcast, The Cauldron, bringing fans closer to the players, coaches, and stories that make the club unique.
A partnership rooted in community and tradition.
Communications Manager, Chris Davies, welcomed the announcement:
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Trade Centre Wales as a principal sponsor of Aberavon RFC. Their name will be on our iconic Blood and Black shirts, around our famous ground, and linked to our official podcast – a clear demonstration of their commitment to the Wizards. More importantly, this partnership is about more than rugby. It’s about supporting our community, strengthening our club, and ensuring that we continue to thrive for future generations.”
Aberavon RFC has been at the heart of Port Talbot life since 1876, with a reputation for producing players who have gone on to represent Wales at the highest level. The club’s identity – built on passion, resilience, and loyalty – is one that resonates strongly with the values of Trade Centre Wales.

Founder and Owner of The Trade Centre Wales, Mark Bailey, added:
“Aberavon RFC is one of the most iconic clubs in Welsh rugby, with a proud history and a passionate supporter base. To see the Trade Centre Wales logo on the famous Blood and Black shirts and at the Talbot Athletic Ground is something that fills us with pride. We are especially pleased to support The Cauldron podcast, which allows fans to get even closer to the club they love. This partnership reflects our commitment to Welsh communities, and we look forward to standing side by side with the Wizards this season.”
Looking ahead.
The agreement marks another important step in Aberavon’s preparations for the new season, which promises to be an exciting one both on and off the pitch. With the support of Trade Centre Wales as a principal sponsor, the Wizards are aiming to continue building momentum, deepening their community links, and delivering success for their loyal supporters.
For local fans, the sight of a major Welsh company investing in their club is a source of pride and optimism. This partnership highlights not only the enduring strength of Aberavon’s rugby heritage but also the role the club continues to play at the heart of Port Talbot life.
