Reports to: Managing Director (working alongside the Club Kit Manager)
Hours: Matchdays (Home & Away) and occasional support during the week as required

As Aberavon RFC prepares for its historic 150th season, we’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Volunteer Kit Assistant to support our current Kit Manager and help ensure the squad is fully prepared on match-days.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of the club’s management team and experience semi-professional rugby from behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the allocation and distribution of matchday playing kit.
- Support the Kit Manager in preparing home and away changing rooms.
- Help organise and pack kit and equipment for travel.
- Ensure players receive the correct playing kit and training apparel.
- Assist with post-match collection and organisation of kit.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and organisation within the kit room.
- Support the wider management team with any matchday operational requirements when needed.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Organised and dependable.
- Enthusiastic about rugby and being part of a team environment.
- Willing to learn from our experienced Kit Manager.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced sporting environment.
- Available for home and away fixtures throughout the season.
No previous experience is necessary—just a positive attitude and a willingness to help.
