Aberavon Rugby Football Club is delighted to announce a new partnership with Port Talbot-based sportswear company Noir Bear, who will become the club’s official kit and merchandise supplier.

The partnership brings together two organisations with deep roots in Port Talbot and marks an exciting new chapter as the Wizards prepare to celebrate their 150th anniversary season in 2026/27.

Founded and operated by former Wales international Richard Hibbard and Dale Bowen, Noir Bear has rapidly established itself as a leading supplier of high-quality sportswear and apparel. Through the partnership, Noir Bear will provide Aberavon’s official playing kit, training wear and club shop merchandise throughout the landmark anniversary year and beyond.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to the local community, excellence and pride in representing Port Talbot on a national stage.

Aberavon Head Coach Chris Davies welcomed the partnership, highlighting the importance of working with local organisations that share the club’s values.

“This partnership feels like a natural fit for everyone involved. Aberavon RFC and Noir Bear are both proud Port Talbot organisations with strong connections to the local community, and that’s something we wanted to embrace as we enter our 150th anniversary season.

Noir Bear also expressed its pride in joining forces with one of Welsh rugby’s most historic clubs.
