Aberavon Rugby Club Confirm Retained Squad Ahead of Historic 2026/27 Season
Aberavon Rugby Club is delighted to confirm its retained players ahead of the 2026/27 season as preparations continue for a landmark year in the club’s history.
Heading into the club’s 150th anniversary season, Aberavon has secured the services of 22 retained players who will provide continuity, leadership and a strong foundation for the campaign ahead.
The retained group reflects the club’s continued commitment to building a competitive squad with strong local identity, with 59% of the retained players coming from the local area. The current retained squad also holds an average age of just 24, highlighting the balance between youthful ambition and valuable experience within the group.
