Aberavon RFC’s 150th Anniversary Charity Golf Day is filling up fast – with just SIX team spaces now remaining for what promises to be one of the standout events of our anniversary year.
Taking place at the Grove Golf Club, Porthcawl, on Thursday 1 October, the day will bring together supporters, sponsors, former players, friends of the club and the wider rugby community as we continue the celebrations of 150 years of Aberavon RFC.
With the remaining spaces limited, we’re encouraging anyone considering entering a team to secure their place as soon as possible.
The day will feature a Texas Scramble with a shotgun start, with plenty more included throughout the event:
- Two-course meal
- Team prizes
- Par 3 and Longest Drive challenges with prizes
- Individual goody bags
- Charity raffle and auction
- Post-golf entertainment with Sean Holley and former players
It’s set to be much more than simply a round of golf. The event provides another opportunity to celebrate the people, friendships and stories that have helped shape Aberavon RFC over the past 150 years.
